What else...

I fell in love with LEAPS my freshman year.
I became a team leader my sophomore year, joined Exec as the site coordinator, and currently serve as the director. My LEAPS experiences have been the most rewarding times I have had at TCU.
I ride bikes, fly planes, and enjoy a rockin' good time. Mexican food is my biggest weakness.

What else...

This is my third year to be involved with LEAPS and I am so excited to be on Exec for this fall and spring.  LEAPS is such a unique experience for students.  It's a great opportunity to get to know more about the Fort Worth community, service learning, and also you get to meet a lot of interesting people.  My favorite LEAPS experience was when I was a team leader last fall and we got to meet Andrew Zimmer from the Travel Channel show Bizare Foods.  We were painting a fence in the stockyards and he happened to be filming for a show about foods in Texas.  I even got to take a picture with him.  Participating in LEAPS has been very rewarding and I know other students will feel the same once they try LEAPS too.

What else...

I think that LEAPS is a great opportunity to show your thankfulness for everything at TCU through a day of service to the Fort Worth community. I have changed roles in LEAPS from year to year, from being a participant to a team leader to now being on Exec.  I love Labrador Retrievers, traveling, red Swedish Fish, and spending time with my wonderful friends.

I have been involved in LEAPS since I was a freshman at TCU.  After being a participant my freshman year I knew I wanted to be a leader.  I did that for two years before deciding to take the next step.  I love helping other people and getting others involved.  I enjoy going to movies, hanging out with friends, swimming and reading.  Come join me and the rest of the volunteers for an experience you wont forget!

Planning, organizing, scheduling--I love it all, which is why I love my position on LEAPS exec! LEAPS allows students to give back to the Fort Worth community and is an exciting day of fun with new people, new surroundings, and new experiences. I love running and am training for a marathon this December. I also love to play tennis and am a HUGE Chicago White Sox fan.

What else...

I started participating in LEAPS my freshman year and was truly impressed by the magnitude of involvement by the TCU community.  It's grown even larger since then and I'm just grateful for the opportunity to help plan one of the biggest events to ever hit this campus.  When I'm not running around for LEAPS, I love to play basketball, bowl (challenge anyone?) and curl up with a good book.

What else…

I volunteered with LEAPS as a student and am now a staff advisor for the event.  It’s fun to work with such a dedicated group of students committed to serving our local community.  Outside of the office, I love playing with my dog, running, tennis, racquetball, dancing, piano, and visiting my sister in New York City.

What else...

My first LEAPS experience was when I was a freshman. I decided to apply for exec my sophomore year because I wanted to increase the number of TCU students, faculty, and teachers that are aware of and involved in the amazing, life-changing LEAPS experience. My favorite things include watching football and baseball, Tuesday's at Dutch's, and my family and friends. I am also super excited about LEAPS!!

What else...

LEAPS is the bomb dot com. I applied as a team leader my sophmore year and loved it so much, I decided to apply for an exec position. The LEAPS team just couldn't get rid of me, and here I am. I think the best part of the LEAPS experience is serving the greater community while finding real connections to people in our TCU community.

To make your very own Boah:
  1 cup all-around-nerd
  1/2 cup cooking skills
  1/2 cup people lover
  1/4 cup travel bug
  1/4 cup movie addict
  2 tbsp spontanaeity
  1 tbsp ninja skills
Combine all ingredients with green tea. Add a dash of pride and a pinch of sarcasm. Keep cool, as Boah tends to overheat in the Texas sun.

The what else....   (why you did LEAPS, random fact, etc.)  I participated in LEAPS my freshman year because I really love doing community service and thought it was a great opportunity to help out the Fort Worth community. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to run for executive committee and have been working with faculty, staff, administration and alumni ever since.
